First, what would you find most beneficial as a daily challenge that would fit your schedule? I want to be careful to ensure the daily challenges are not overly time-consuming, causing people to drop out. My initial thought is to introduce a new mechanic up to the last few days of the challenge and then switch to building a small game with the mechanics learned. Another idea is to build a small game each day. This one I'm concerned about due to the reasons stated above. Perhaps I'm too cautious about it, though 🙃
The second question is about the provided solutions. Would you want challenges accompanied by solutions specific to an engine like Unity/Unreal? Even if you don't currently use one or either of these, I'm hoping it would be simple enough to look at as an example and implement the challenge in the language/engine more experienced developers prefer. I believe beginners will be able to follow along with the engine chosen for the solutions since it will most likely be their introduction to using an engine.
If you'd be interested in this 30-day challenge, please provide your feedback and let's discuss! Of course, this will all be built openly on GitHub. If you'd like to help out by suggesting daily challenge ideas, please let me know.
