Some time ago I released version 2.2.0 of my Bash completion for ack.
Unfortunately a bug had sneaked in and since I no longer use Bash I had not discovered it.
Luckily @grumpyf0x48 did and reported an issue at same time hinting at a very basic fix.
So now if you do ack -<tab> it will again act as default Bash completions and expand using files and folder in the current directory.

Release 2.2.1 is now available with the fix.
