On my most recent job search I interviewed with an agency who really seemed to take code seriously but it became clear that they really didn't know what they were looking for. I don't know if I threatened their comfort zone but I was called back for a 2nd because the exec's wanted to meet me. Usually this means they're going to make an offer but instead it was the first interview all over again. Like wtf? If I feel like you're looking for a reason not to hire me, I don't want to work for you. Turned down the offer a week later.
