Interesting take. I'm a Linux fanatic through and through since the mid-90s. However, the engineer in me has an issue with saying it's the "best". It's certainly my favorite, but I don't use it 100% of the time. There are times Windows is "the best" for the problem I'm trying to solve. Same with OSX. Or Unix.
It's all about what you're trying to do. Linux may not be "the best" for some people and that's ok. While I always encourage people to try it out, I try not to be too dogmatic because there are times when it's not the best solution.
