There is a useful tool to be found on the web, can you guess what it is?...No! It's not Stack Overflow, we all know how to use that.
Today I will not be talking about Stack Overflow, today I will be talking about...Gitpod!
You may or may not have heard about this incredibly useful tool, but if you haven't, be prepared to have your github experience Doubled
Gitpod is an online IDE which can be launched from any GitHub page. ... Within seconds, Gitpod provides you with a fully working development environment, including a VS Code-powered IDE and a cloud-based Linux container configured specifically for the project at hand. Isn't that Amazing!
Ok, lets see how we use it then.
You can use gitpod 2 ways
Let's go through the first option first.
To create your own Workspace, follow this link, I'll stick to the more fun stuff to write about :)
From there, its really up to you, so have a read through the documentation and familiarize yourself with Gitpod.
Go To Here to add the Gitpod extension to chrome.
And wullah! You now have an online IDE for github!
My favorite thing about Gitpod is that I can use Git commands and easily perform pulls, pushes and more, it really has made my life 10x easier.
