Thank you for writing this and reminding me that being a good developer means using technology where it adds value. I realize that I let myself get caught up in the hype of these frameworks that are really providing my project with no value beyond "bragging rights" that our app is using React. The fragmentation and interdependence of these new frameworks bring to mind the old DLL hell of the fat client.
I don't like that the community is running around like sheep.
This week this framework next week that framework but they solve the same problem just in a different way without adding value to the product.
I have seen teams that did a rewrite in reactjs/angularjs/vuejs and the user experience was worse than before.
