Yeah, I once turned down the possibility of an interview for a huge podcast I guess (at least he seems to have a really big audience for Java related stuff). I asked if he could write about my Open Source project in his blog and he thought it would be far better to do a podcast with me and that it has a much better impact on generating some traction... and as I've never done anything like that I said, that I'm too much of an introvert and turned it down. So, you're for sure right.

I end up telling people this a lot. I'm pretty introverted, I had to work really hard to be comfortable with being out of my comfort zone.
That being said, I do think this industry has a bias favoring extroverts.
