"RPA for Dummies" Book Review

“RPA for Dummies” is a book for the non tech guy. He can learn what RPA is and what wonders can it do. In these days, companies try increasing their ROI not only by increasing their sales but also decreasing their cost on goods (Liabilities) by fine tuning their processes. And what is the better way other than Robotic Process Automation.
The term Robotic might look confusing to you, but it is not based on any humanoid or other kind of hardware robot. Opposite to common comprehension, a robot can be a software as well as a hardware. A robot is anything that acts as human and decrease the human effort and human errors. But are robots not prone to error? Yes, they are. But their error is not like human error.
A robot can err and it could be due to some network issue or any other software update etc. But it will never forget a step in a workflow. And if we design a robot while cautiously accounting the system or business exceptions, we can get a lot of benefit. And the benefit from RPA is shown in income statement not after months or years but in weeks.
To make robots error free we can design their process flow in such a way that when there is any exception or decision-making it asks human to decide. And if AI meets RPA, it’s a magic stick bro!
We call this stick The Cognitive Automation. The Cognitive Automation can not only learn the processes itself but also create the bots itself. It's truly amazing.
I would advise you all tech-savy people to read this book and share your opinions.
