They were the 1st and sole domain name provider to offer .com, .org and .net. domains. The company was co-founded by an African American Emmet McHenry. Network Solutions was a significant commercial enterprise that was at the very start of all business opportunities and presence on the web. Possibly too early for many or most to realize.
