Discussion on: How do I battle impostor syndrome?

I've been having a really strong impostor syndrome for years, pretty much ever since I got my first job in the industry.

One thing I've tried to do to battle it (with varying levels of success) is journaling and keeping lists of things I've done and my achievements. I regularly then go through those lists and journals to see all the things I've been able to achieve and try to convince myself that 15-year old me would be super proud.

And like you said, hearing and reading the stories of others has been important for me as well.

Good to hear listing your achievements has worked (at least somewhat :D )! Maybe I could also try journaling. It's so easy to just remember the bad things and ignore the good.

Let's hope it gets better for both of us :)
