So, about pass "object/arrays" to custom elements, poeple get's confused mainly because they expected do it in the same way that React, Vue or Angular does it: through "attributes". But they forget that in fact this is done using JavaScript behind the scenes. Pass as properties have pretty much sense for me.
About libs to reduce boilerplate, check haunted too. It uses the React API to build elements. Maybe it's situable for React background devs ;)
