Delivered an MLP Friday at lunch so I took the afternoon off to onboard myself on a Flutter project. Fun times 🙋

Well, I had a baby! 👶 (Or rather, my wife did!) He was born at 3:03AM this morning, and now we are... tired, mostly, very very tired, but also so happy!
Congratulations Ken.
Thanks! 😁
Congrats Ken! 👶
Thanks! 😁
Amazing! Congratulations to you, your wife, and the family :)
Thanks! 😁
Had a pretty huge win this week: after months of designing + over-engineering, I finally released v3 of my personal site!
This was a pretty big undertaking, since I challenged myself to make a statically generated, JAMStack-ified SPA using zero frameworks or component libraries.
Hope to get going on some posts explaining what I learned along the way (other than... don't try this at home 😆). For now...
Check out the README for an explanation of the build tool

Cool site!!
Made my first ever embedded bootloader! Now I can update my custom hardware from over the network 😁

Yesterday a teammate and I presented at the virtual Cloud Foundry NA Summit. It was my first time speaking at a virtual conference, but a lot of fun! Definitely a lot less stressful than speaking in-person for an introvert like me. 😅
We talked about how our team's work involving Istio, Kubebuilder, and Kubernetes! Now that I've done this once (and bought this microphone) it makes me want to do more things like this! 😊
My series of posts "Functional programming for your everyday javascript" is now available as observable notebooks (is like a normal post but with live code snippets). Anyway, it was really fun to do. Here is the link.
This week two of my articles got accepted into publications! 🙌
Thats the first time someone accepts my writing 🙂
That's awesome, congrats!
