I think I completely agree with your perspective, as one who went the other back in 2008, I moved from Windows to Linux because I just wanted to get sh*t done, I do tend to agree with you. There are quite a lot of temptations and distractions with Open System of Linux, and for people like us who like to understand why sh*t works and to search for ways to break I appreciate where you're coming from!
