WWC MENTORSHIP WEEK 4-5

WEEK 4:
The main agenda for this week was to focus on our DSA , our mentor asked us the topics which we were most confident about , she then curated a list of questions which we were supposed to solve .
That’s pretty much about week 4 .

WEEK 5:
The most crucial step while applying for an opportunity is the interview , so this week was all about interview prep.
The basic format of an interview

  1. Introduction :
We are suppose to introduce ourselves , mention about our technical skills .We can also add some of our personal achievements ,maybe community work.

  2. Resume:
In this section questions will be asked regarding your resume .Be genuine about your projects , internship, community work etc.

  3. Coding questions :
Here comes the most crucial part of an interview . First step while answering the question is to understand what actually the question is , if you have any doubts ask then and there . Now while you are answering make sure you are letting the recruiter know about your approach . Be sure to dry run your code.
Keep interacting with the interviewer , that’s the key .

  4. Questions for the recruiter :
This is the last part of your interview , ask questions which will give them the impression that you genuinely want to be a part of the company .Do your research , have prior knowledge of the company your interviewing with .

With this our mentorship comes to an end , honestly there were so many things that i was not aware of but learnt all those in these
5 weeks . Special thanks to our mentor Urvi Goel , who was constantly guiding us. Had an amazing experience !
