Well, that's a problem I found (and that's why I pointed out about a literate programming language). I've been sharing all my configurations lately (Termite, i3, etc.) but I wrote them in org-mode and I do babelify with my current Emacs configuration, they aren't actually useful if you don't have Emacs+org-contrib.
