Such a bold move to reach out to speakers to travel and speak for free before securing sponsorship. Like it's harder to reach out to somebody in a marketing department whose job it is to sponsor events than it is to ask somebody for free labor? It doesn't make sense.
As a standout positive example, Saron Yitbarek even managed to provide free childcare at her Codeland Conference. She talked about it on the Hanselminutes podcast:
