Yes! Gratitude and compassion are at times difficult concepts but they can definitely make us better developers, and overall much better people! I would add, if you are looking for work extend your gratitude to everybody involved in processing applications and conducting interviews. They are not against you, only taking the time to seek the best fit for their company and/or clients!
