I'm just glad somebody wrote this up. I'm totally with you on this. Thanks for sharing!

I went from writing css only to frameworks like materializecss and bootstrap and switched to using pre-processors like less and sass, added gulp along the way and now I'm on webpack/scss with autoprefixer and without any framework.

Today's css is much more powerful and I think that we don't actually need any tool or framework to accomplish great interfaces and tailwind is plain ugly to work with.

For me, js goes to .js, css goes to .css and html goes to .html. No mixing and making things awkward.

Tailwind for me is as ugly as reacts css in js.
