Professional : Pretty good day today. Got to get a lot done with my demo. It's going a little slower because my application is based on another application that I had no hand in creating. I'm just adding some Web Components to extend the functionality. So far, I got everything working, but there is one little issue on a page where for whatever reason the page gets longer where the scrollbar shows up and throws things off even though there's nothing there to make it longer. I'll have to figure it out tomorrow and finish up some styling. Also had a couple of meetings. Not a bad day.
Personal : So I started working on that new side project for the event that if you deploy your project to a host will donate money to organizations helping get underrepresented people into tech. I'm one of these same folks that got opportunities to get involved because of programs like these. Got quite a bit done. I set up the project, added some pages, did a little styling, set up an account with the hosting company, linked up my GitHub account, pushed my code to a repo and it got deployed to a website. Pretty cool and painless! Felt good and then watched the final episode of the first season of "Cowboy Bebop". Looking forward to the next season. They did a good job setting it up.
Hoping to be as productive on the side project tonight as I was last night. If I am, I may even finish the project! I'm going to have to remember what I did for the demo I did a year ago. haha Going to eat dinner and get started working.
