Professional : Had a townhall meeting and then worked on some stuff that will hopefully help speed up recording our videos and make them both consistent and interesting. That called for spending some time with a new program. Spent some time working on examples.
Personal : Finally got the video for my talk this week edited. I event added some waiting music during parts where I'm showing demos or playing videos and not talking. Went through this whole process to get the license for a song just to make sure I'm good. After that, uploaded it, sent it to the event organizers and finished watching season 2 of "Dr. Stone". Pretty good. Hope they make another season.
Of course, I just remembered that I didn't put a link to a demo in my video I recorded, but I did link to where a person could create their own. That's probably better. So I ordered some items for my van. Found out that a local home improvement store could cut the extruded aluminum I'm using. So I ordered a couple of long pieces and have them cut it. The order says it will be delivered in 2 weeks which is WAY LESS than the 3 months and multiple calls it took when I ordered from the other place. We'll see how it works out. Getting really close to start putting the framing together. May start this weekend. Probably go through tracks for this weeks radio show and work on the landing page for my next side project. Got a lot of it done already. Just need to finish up a couple of things and work on another subdomain were people can sign up for push notifications.
