Professional : Not a bad day today. Got a chance to sit in on a coworker practicing the workshop they will be holding later this month. Cool stuff. Gave some feedback. Rest of the day, I reformatted and cleaned up the code for the demo I've built for a blog post and presentation. There's just a couple of things I want to do with the UI and should be good to go.
Personal : Worked on the admin section of my side project. I reformatted some of the code so that it now creates and sends a file to where I'll be storing files so that I can get the upload url and save all that to the database. Pretty surprised that it went relatively smoothly. I then set up the dashboard portion of the project. It will be the section where users upload files to the storage. Then I went through a bunch of tracks for the radio show.
Been uploading radio show tracks all day to the archive so I can clear up some space on my laptop. It's all the tracks and albums submitted last year. Going pretty slowly on the park WiFi Making sure to do them a few folders at a time, just in case something messes up. It's Wednesday so I'm going to make some time to go to the supermarket to get some $5 sushi and other things. When I make it back to my spot, going to work on the dashboard of my side project. I want to get the authentication working and display items based on roles. Just realized that I don't thing I have the ability to edit users in the admin section. May work on that also. If there's time, I'd like to go through some tracks for the radio show also. Can't believe half the week is over!
