Professional : Got to play with a framework to make a CLI. I was able to put together something pretty quickly that I added to a project I'm helping out with. Worked on getting my Web Component into an Angular app for my next blog post. I want to use an online editor so I can embed the project into my post. Ran into some strange issues and errors, but finally got the Web Component to show up in the application. I had to install my Web Component into the application. Going to see if I can get it working another way. At least it's a start.
Personal : Last night, I was able to deploy the new version of https://otech.events and the organizer dashboard to some test URLs so I can test it out before transferring the domains. I used Sapper for the new version and had to change some things to get it working with Firebase. I used Sapper for https://dwane.in and https://myslides.page so this time it wasn't as bad.
I almost forgot to post this blog. haha It's election day in the US so my mind is elsewhere. haha. We'll see what happens. Regardless of what happens, we still need to fight to get what we need. Spoke with some meetup organizers and will be giving them a demo of the new site and we may be using it to stream their upcoming events. Would be great to get some meetups going again even though they aren't in person. I want to start thinking about the design for my next project. Pretty excited to start. Almost the end of the year and still got work to do!
