Professional : Had our monthly demo meeting. This is where we get to show anything we built to the group. My team mates are making some cool things. I got to demo the project I built this week. I really wanted to see if it worked when a bunch of people used it at the same time. Good news, I got a lot of it worked in the chat. I did get to find out about a bug and it's something that always bites me. haha. Got to figure out a way around it so it doesn't happen anymore. Went through some reviews of a couple of my pull requests and had another meeting. I was so wiped, I had to take a nap. haha
Personal : Added a tweet link to my side project that when clicked will pre-populate a message with the artist and track playing and a link to the site. Hoping that if people using it like a track, they will help spread the word by send out a tweet.
So, I've been battling with making a decision since last month. I planned to paid off a credit card this month, because the interest stops being 0%. With all the stuff happening in the world, I took their offer of deferring a payment. I asked if the 0% interest deal would also be extended. They said yes. But then I read the fine print and it said that I would still be on the hook for the interest. Trying to keep my money out of the interest circulation and in my bank account. Just for my piece of my mind, I went ahead and paid it. I still have a little left over in my savings. I think I made the right choice. At least I feel better that I got it paid off. Just need to build my savings back up as quick as possible.
