Other than the team, which is the primary reason why I joined, what I love the most is that the project I'm in is absolutely different from anything I've done before. It's quite an incredible learning opportunity!
What are the biggest differences from previous projects you worked in the past?
Oh well where to begin. Previously I was leading a project for a data ingestion pipeline feeding a ML model applied to computer vision (sounds really fancy). Now it's a backend-as-a-service project, quite different both in terms of objective and tech used!
The project I work with these days is huge and complicated, so I need to learn something new regularly. It's tough sometimes, but it's a great challenge and a trip out of the comfort zone, and I appreciate that internally 😁
I think that is a good "metric" to evaluate how good the working environment is!
