This looks good, except for the part why one would run k8s cluster to run a wordpress unless they provide some wp services or has huge amounts of visitors that could use some of the k8s help with autoscaling.

True, unless there is autoscaling, I'll host my WP with Cloudways or a normal DO droplet

Great to see how to install WordPress with an external MySQL server on a Kubernetes cluster using the command-line tool Helm. It is awesome.

with all the great features like

Block-Theming
Gutenberg etc. etx.
