I have to use it.. We are in the middle of re-building our product using vue.js (nuxt) and graphql. But all our current clients still run on websites using jQuery so whenever they need support or new functions.. it's jQuery time :(
Most of the projects i migrated from jQuery to vanilla, was done exactly by having jQuery project and writing new code in vanilla. Sooner or later dependency will not be needed. ;)
