You got the biggest one - planning. Any time I write a line of code before I've written a line of English I'm pretty much guaranteed to be dead wrong in some assumption or other, at the very least.
The other skill I wish I'd picked up earlier is A/B testing. A lot of issues I thought came down to "intuition and guesswork" really can be science'd away.
