I've over the years been in various companies that have embarked on cloud migrations. They have all been a wasted effort with half finished state of affairs and compromises. The cloud that has your data almost by definition has you locked in.
Multi-cloud and in general being beholden to no vendor requires a lot of engineering effort that almost no company is willing to pay for. It sounds nice on the brochure to be multi-cloud but in practice it's more work than people expect.
So very, very true.
This is true because they don't design to anticipate the change in infrastructure or the existing tooling is unknown to them or they don't know how to use it.
We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
We strive for transparency and don't collect excess data.
