Well honestly, I was at a point where I took a semester off and then after that semester I came to the realization that medicine wasn't for me. It wasn't for me because I felt very stagnant repeating the same tasks and learning stuff from books to prepare me for a career where I would be required to dedicate my life to a certain scope of work and ethics. Don't get me wrong i loved it when it lasted but medicine should only be for people who are as passionate about it as I have now realized in software development. Oh, and my motive was heavily influenced by people such as Mark Zuckerberg and Richard Hendricks who I found some resemblance of myself in.

Well, that's a great thing to understand. Not everyone does it so quickly, so I'm glad you found your path!

Ah ah I don't know if those are really good role models though :P (you mean Hendricks from the show Silicon Valley?).

And yeah Hendricks from Silicon Valley. haha. They might not be good role models but they give enough motivation for people to get into what they want to believe in.
