Your cloud platform is a function of the services and products you offer. A cloud platform is very essential for the world we live in. The cloud has so much to offer you and your firm and the most amazing part of it is that it works on a "Pay-As-You-go" basis.

The cloud is divided into three broad spectrums:

  1. Software as a Service(SaaS): This is probably the most essential platform from any business or person. SaaS is essential for group meetings, collaboration, report construction and communication. Some cloud service providers that offer this include: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Mircosoft Azure, IBM Cloud and many more. Banks, Financial institutions, governmental bodies and so on require this platform. Some large firms choose to purchase their own servers and perform these services.

  2. Platform as a Service(PaaS): This service is designed for developers who build applications and web platform. This service offers them the opportunity to deploy their code on the web. Some companies that specialize in this area include: Digital Ocean, Google Cloud Platform, GitHub, Heroku, Netlify and many more.
