As I said, it's great when coding is someone's hobby. Especially when you can find a right balance between hobbies and family/friends. There is absolutely nothing wrong here.
But sometimes when you have to do something what you probably don't love so much - you would have to sacrifice something else (like spending time with family/friends). That is my point here.
