When you migrated your site were there any options for full static generation in Nuxt? Together with the official @nuxt/content module, a git-based headless CMS, the new full static mode in Nuxt seems like it is a good option for static blogs written with Vue. I don’t know about the trade offs between Vuepress and Nuxt static mode, but I imagine that Nuxt probably has more features and plugins. I just migrated my blog to Nuxt with full static mode and it is working out quite nicely
