It looks like most of the fears are based on lack of knowledge. Knowing how selectors work, what is their priority, is like knowing that x has priority over + and you don't need to put parens there, for ex. Browser compatibility may be an issue, but it's not like there are no solutions that are clearly documented. So it all boils down to know your tools, I guess. Knowledge being the best cure against fear :)

 

I completely agree. There are just so many developers having a biased opinion on CSS. And there are so many with a bad attitude. I think I will use the saying that knowledge is the best cure against fear 😃
