We are developing an interactive documentary experience that focuses on a social justice issue. We will provide you with all video content, wire frame, and images. We require a developer who is able to create a simple, clean, website that will match the aesthetic of the video content that we provide.
The project focuses on the issue of forced adoptions in Canada and outlines the history and legacy in church and state involvement. This project will be used in high schools, university social working programs, and could eventually be developed into a training program for 60,000 social workers across Canada.
Our ideal Candidate will have:
experience developing interactive video projects
a strong design sensibility and understanding of visual storytelling
knowledge of modern front-end web development (HTML, JS, and CSS), including expertise building solutions with current tools and frameworks
a proven ability to deliver web applications that are responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible
availability to commence work as of October 1st
