Dark! It's a sci-fi German Netflix show - very underrated. The story is well done, and the casting is just on point. Dan Abramov agrees!

I tried watching it but unfortunately I couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it a try again.

I was the same way. you just have to push through and actually pay attention in the beginning and you'll be hooked.

I feel the same way about the newest season. I haven't had the time to commit to it yet but the first 2 or 3 episodes haven't really caught my interest. Hopefully when I try again it'll hook me.

I feel the same way about Season 3. It took a long time to build up in the beginning of the season, but it gets there.

I love it 🖤
A lot of times I feel like I understand nothing and I am totally lost but at the same time I feel everything is connected and somewhat makes sense. I guess my wife is tired of my "who is this girl/guy?"

I have such a hard time watching sci-fi in German for some reason, it's preventing me from enjoying the show

I'm totally in love with Dark Triology. 🖤
This web series totally gives justice to Sci-fi genre.
Before watching, it's better if you have little knowledge in Physics and different theories related to time travel and paradoxes related to time travel.
There's another documentary film "The Fourth Kind". If you like movie on aliens.
This was the first movie, I felt like I'm watching an Alien based movie.
😄

Word of advice, put down your phone and close your laptop when watching this. Watching 70% of this is the same as watching 0% in terms of understanding 😃.

Yes! I restarted it from Season 1 to better understand all of the connections. Not only has it been helpful to see all the things I missed, I’m enjoying the show a lot more because of it.

The connections the families have are: 🤯. I've been using darknetflix.io as a guide too, they present it in a way that doesn't show any spoilers!

I would agree; you may need to write your own conspiracy board with pictures and lines, but it is a very engaging, nonstop show.

Agree with this! There was a time that I had to bring out paper and pen to sketch out the family tree, I was so confused. But I liked it.

Oh my God. I'm just from a weekend binge of this show! season 1.
It's really well written and very interesting. I also like how they name their episodes.

I applaud you for being able to binge watch this, I always have to take a break whenever I start a new episode.

It's the best series I've ever seen. The only "downside" is that it sometimes feels like work putting all those pieces together 😅

season-3 sucks! I don't know why just can't feel the same rush as we had in s1 &s2

I just finished Avatar: The Last Airbender — first time I'd watched it. It's seriously incredible.

Then you'll get that the cat I always post pictures of is named Iroh! :D As a kitten, he would just still like a wise general and he had white tufts of fur behind his ears that made him look like an old man. He grew out of the white and his littermate grew into it, but oh well, the names stayed.

There's exactly one person in the area's vet hospital who gets the reference.

Haha! That's awesome. Iroh is probs my favorite character, but how do you pick just one in Avatar?!

And my wife is a vet, so she's now part of the vets-that-get-Avatar-references club. It's an elite group.

I felt bad at the end of June because Iroh went to the vet hospital and met that tech again. Ended up he only really needed fluids and was diagnosed with a stomach bug, not his old usual of surgeries and a week-long fever. So that was nice, just sucked we couldn't visit him to keep his spirits up while he was admitted.

We pull up to the hospital during his pickup time, and it was the vet tech that knew Avatar bringing him out. She was like "I was so hyped that there was another black cat named Iroh on the list for today and then it ended up being this poor little guy again." At least this was the first time since 2018, but he's got a ton of charisma so they all remember him still. They always say "We love you but we hope to never see you again"

It starts to get a tad stale after the 10th+ rewatch :D Legend of Korra is different but good in its own way. Netflix is supposed to do a live action or something of the first series I think.

Funny thing, I got a dog about 2 and half months ago and her name is Cora. She's 7 years old, so came with the name. 😀

A friend of mine came by to visit, met Cora and starting talking about Legend of Korra which led to talk about Avatar, and I revealed I had yet to see it... after that chat, I had to see it. Luckily Netflix delivered the goods.

You don't / shouldn't. You should read the original graphic novel, also if you were a fan of the show read the graphic novel.

Besides the big name, Brooklyn 99, Stranger Things and Friends. If you are looking for something different, try out "Little fires everwhere", "For Life" or "The Good Place"

I've watched quite a few of shows during the pandemic but haven't got the energy to watch movies. I guess I'm just a series person

I recently watched “Upload”... which is pretty on-topic because it’s all about software and the tech industry.

It’s a show that Greg Daniels has been trying to make happen for a while and you can tell it’s a passion project. He’s one of the creators of King of the Hill and The Office, and also used to write for The Simpsons during the classic era.

It’s really warm, funny and authentic. I’m excited for season 2.

Wow, I didn't realize that was done by one of the King of the Hill creators. KotH is my go-to thing to throw on while I eat breakfast or something. I'll have to get to watching Upload soon.

Well, one of the two people headlined as KotH creator. The other one is Mike Judge who did Silicon Valley. So it’s safe to say they both have a keen eye for tech satirization.

Supermarket Sweep dropped on Netflix, so I'm going to watching that for a while.

We've been watching the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on HBO go too. And Star Trek (currently, Deep Space Nine) is always a go-to.

I think we're between seasons (if we get new seasons) of the current TV atm.

Old, I know, but Charmed. I started it because I love The Craft (1996 movie), and Charmed looked similar. Reminds me of The X-Files meets The Craft. Also, a Star Trek TNG re-watch. Current telly: Blindspot.

Welcome to the world of awful dubbing, we have that with any anglophone show, and movie, on this planet.

If you're not German, watch it with subtitles, it's worth it.

Definitely you should watch "The Last Dance" - its all about the amazing story of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

And then "Formula 1: Drive To Survive" This docuseries gives viewers exclusive, intimate access to the drivers, managers and team owners in Formula 1 live life in the fast lane -- both on and off the track.
