there seems to be an underground marketplace for "Twitter taken but not used" names... we have this exact situation with twitter.com/temporal but no idea what to do about it..
We had a funny little search to find out who owned Forem on Twitter... We were able to dig around and find out it was some very nice Scottish academics. @peter
is a master at tracking down contact info making these sorts of things go smoothly (though we don't know of any insidery way to go about doing this underground if we can't find the owner's identity).
i've heard the move is spend enough on twitter ads to get an account exec assigned to you and then make the request 🤷 (i dont even think that is foolproof)
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse
