I want to be a javascript developer but i am not good at css?

I like react and i am familiar with nodejs and mongodb. Is css necessary to getajob? And if it is necessary then how much? I am familiar with margin padding border text-align etc? I am really confused I created a website using nodejs which has file upload, video upload and a small chat system using ajax it is not perfect. I used grid fs(library) to develop the upload part. I took the help of my friend who is good at css to develop the frontend part of my website but only the design part whereas frontend validation was done by myself.

If you're having issues with CSS, what you can do is focus on your back-end skills. Learn much of Node.js' server frameworks. Express, Next etc. Master your MongoDB skills.

The truth is, you can't become a frontend developer without the knowledge of CSS. Although, tools like Bootstrap and Tailwind might help you.

I've been coding heavily for years, and CSS still confuses me. You'll be fine.

Can you suggest a course or something through which I can grasp the core concepts of css i know margin, padding, float, absolute, relative and specificity but when you give me design to convert into html css I don't from where to begin and I am overwhelmed.
I am not familiar with responsive design and some of the advance stuff like cross browser compatibility

But I have heard that frontend jobs are easy getting into for freshers whereas backend jobs require experience is it true or a myth
