One can clearly see that these are conclusions that come from experience, not from reading a bunch of average posts. It's refreshing to read something different than the usual list of the same 10 suggestions one reads everywhere.
I could pick many highlights but this is the one for me:
Imagine being a Toxic Person
As an interviewer it's one of my top priorities not only to weed out toxic people from the process, but to do it as early as possible to avoid even wasting time.
Funnily enough, I never thought about this perspective as a candidate. Great, great suggestion.
If that's ok for you I have a 2 points of feedback for improvement:
The title could better describe the content. While the statement "I'm a programmer changing jobs in Japan. This is a list of all the stuff I've learned on my job hunts." is certainly true, I - as a reader - would think that your suggestions would apply to Japan only. In reality, these suggestions are mostly universal. A wider narrative could encourage a broader audience reading your great content.
Use more formatting. Every question and advice could be a heading, so the text would be easier to scan/read. It's a long article and it can feel "heavy" on the eyes.
So instead of:
Advice #5: The questions they don't answer are the most important.
If you get to a company that answers every question you ask, or follows up if they don't have that info on hand [...]
What about:
Advice #5: The questions they don't answer are the most important.

Please note, I think these are minor points. The content and the prose are absolutely great. It's funny, informal and absolutely informative.
