Hi,

I was also interested in Renovate and because I use Gitlab.com I just followed the documentation and added Renovate-bot as a developer. The second day I got an incoming call from an unknown number with +44 prefix - did not accepted it. Just after it, I got an email from Renovate that they want to make a 20-minute call with me and product specialist.

I was shocked and disappointed as well. I did not expect this, especially when they told everywhere how the service is free etc. I'm thinking about moving out and ask them to forget all my data.

Do you or anybody else have any of those experiences?

Thanks

I have not experienced that. But I am only using the docker image. So the load an everything is on Gitlabs CI server. I guess that when you use the bot, the load is on their server. Therefore, they are also able to track you. Did they want to talk you into a business plan?

When I first logged into Dashboard they wanted an email and phone number. But I'm not from the UK and when I saw the abroad number I refused to accept that call. And then received the email.

I will reply to them and I will see what happen.

P.S. I saw you are pointing into greenkeeper. But that service is turned off now in favor of Snyk
