📢 What’s new

• We announced our first Open Source Fund where we pledged $50,000 to support open-source maintainers! 😮
  We’ve received applications from so many amazing projects and cannot wait to see more goodness coming our way! 🤩 If you’re a maintainer or know some amazing maintainers making an impact in Open Source, the OSS Fund is definitely worth checking out.

• The Appwrite x Dev hackathon was a huge success, with so many amazing developers coming together to build something! 🚀

✅ Issues solved

We hear your feedback and try to implement them every week! Here are the issues we’ve fixed this week:

• Improved Appwrite CLI with bug fixes in the appwrite deploy function

Fun fact: We merged 65 PRs this month! 🤯

⚒️ What we’re currently working on

• Introducing hostname string length to make validation more secure by default
• Checking OAuth email verification
• Adding Backblaze support
• Unifying S3 and S3 compatible storage adapter calls and minimizing the number of environment vars needed to configure them.
