Welcome back to yet another weekly community report where we talk about all the open source goodness that happened in the Appwrite ecosystem over the past week! 🤩

TLDR; This time around we have some surprise giveaways, Appwrite x DEV Hackathon progress updates, bug fixes, new features, a Google Docs clone built with Appwrite, and a lot more! Stay tuned till the end 😉

We hear your feedback and try to implement them every week!

Here are the issues we’ve fixed this week:

• Implemented ‘Activity’ tab on team details, where you can view: team create, team delete, team update, how members join/leave and more

• Deno runtime now allows write access to the filesystem

• Enums now support having only one option

• Almost Reddit Place Canvas refactor (60FPS now, with 100k pixels 🤯):

⚒️ What we’re currently working on:

• Default limits on array parameters to make Appwrite more safe
• Replacing json attributes with subqueries, to make some queries faster and safer.
• Endpoint validation by CLI before saving
• Runtimes to be able to display user logs
