The reason why I keep using and recommending vim to other developers is regarding the programming flow.
If I want to perform an action when refactoring, without vim I would have to use the arrows or worse, the mouse, to select and manipulate text.
With Vim, I can focus on the refactoring, without the manipulations breaking my mental workflow.
