It’s no secret that in order to model objects successfully, you need to be able to represent the object in volume, to see it from the inside. Although this skill does not come immediately, but only with experience. I often model now in my head when I’m going home from work, for example, and then at home I can only translate my plans into reality. At first, many people find it difficult to model even a mug, but as a rule, all these problems come from the desire for everything at once. It doesn’t happen, everything needs to be learned. I want to tell you about a unique package, in my opinion, and its name Blender.
Here is a Video Tutorial for the Very Beginners
It’s worth saying right away that the package is absolutely free and open source, which means that you don’t have to worry about the license, which means you can model, print, and sell products in it without fear of any troubles. Of course, you can always transfer any amount of money to the account of developers, thereby helping the project to develop further.
Another plus of Blender for you will be that it is adapted for 3D printing. It has a plug-in for testing the model for printability, as well as import into STL and OBJ formats. In fact, in Blender there are a lot of plug-ins and extensions that allow you to configure it more flexibly, for yourself. In addition, the unit of measure in it (despite different versions and opinions) is 1 mm, i.e. 1.00000 = 1 mm. So, 0.0010 is 1 micron. In fact, the accuracy of the model is limited by the capabilities of your printer.
Many have convinced me that there are tons of CAD systems that Blender will never be on a par with. Perhaps they are right in some ways, but Blender does not know how to work with drawings, but the CAD system will not be able to build a sculpture and Blender can. In general in Blender many objects, vases, for example, are drawn by pressing several buttons, which takes less than a minute in time.
In general, Blender is a serious package that allows you to make animation, films, design and even games.
