I agree with some of those points the interview hiring process is quite broken and convoluted to the point of driving a sane person crazy. It needs an almost complete rework because let's face it there are dozens of highly skilled unemployed developers out there who are more than capable of working. And I find it ridiculous that many companies have job descriptions listing many skills that are not even required on the job.
All it does is scare people away from applying for the role leading to imposter syndrome when you think you are not good enough when really they are looking for just 1 or 2 skills. And then these companies complain that they can't find the right candidate or that hardly anyone applies for their roles.
