Why hello there! My name is Joey, and I am a Computer Engineering student at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. I aspire to join the ranks of great programmers and developers in this community.
My university experience lies primarily in Java and Linux/C programming. My professional experience lies primarily in C# and the .NET framework. I look to graduate in May 2019 and go on to graduate school also at the University of Dayton, where I have secured a research position studying third-generation spiking neural networks. I also have tons of surface-level experience from personal projects including but not limited to: Android and Swift, Lua, Python, Arduino, IoT applications, web development, and more. I'm currently hosting my websites on my own spare machine at home.
My other hobbies include PC gaming, theater performance and writing, and mechanical keyboards. I am a self-taught touch-typist, though my wpm is hardly worth mentioning here! I also enjoy traveling and consider myself an amateur streamer, although I rarely have time to stream with my studies.
Thank you for checking out this blog post, I look forward to interacting with this community!
