For weight loss, exercise isn't going to really do much since it will also increase hunger. I recommend changing your diet instead. Dealing with nutrition first also has the added benefit of making exercise easier and, depending on the individual, being less prone to injury.
Not sure if you've read everything else in the thread, but I'm doing exactly that. I ate way too many carbs (which I've drastically cut off after doing keto for 3 months and currently limiting the intake permanently), but other than that I've had the sufficient amount of nutrients my whole life.
I was never overweight until at a certain point in my life that was caused by multiple factors. I haven't been able to lose that weight again ever since, despite eating even healthier than before I was overweight.
